David Montpetit, President & CEO
President, Diadem Group LTD.

David Montpetit is an accomplished executive with a proven ability to align strategy with day-to-day operations and a comprehensive understanding of the rail transportation and port logistics industry.

David’s abilities are underpinned by his 30+ years of experience in project/sales management and contract negotiation/administration. Mr. Montpetit has held numerous senior leadership roles including Vice President of External Affairs and Logistics with Coalspur Mines Limited where he was responsible for directing the company’s transportation access and operations of rail/port logistics.

Carmen Cayer, Administrative Consultant

Carmen is a senior administrative professional with over 40 years of experience in the natural resources sector.  Carmen has spent much of her career as Executive Assistant to the C-Suite and has extensive experience with document management.

In her role as Administrative Consultant for the Western Canadian Shippers Coalition, Carmen manages data and membership information, assists with member events, and supports the CEO and Board of Directors. Carmen works with a number of entrepreneurial clients and is adept at injecting common sense and creating order.

Shaney Pap, Executive Business Partner, Consultant
Principal, SP Streamline Solutions

With over 30 years of experience in administrative operations and executive support to C-suite leaders, Shaney has worked with a wide variety of organizations including, but not limited to Hockey Canada, Shaw Telecommunications, and Calgary Municipal Land Corporation (CMLC)—the master developer of East Village in Calgary.

 Before joining the Western Canadian Shippers' Coalition (WCSC), Shaney spent five years as the Constituency and Casework Manager for a Federal Member of Parliament in Calgary. In this role, she assisted constituents in navigating federal government services, resolving urgent matters related to immigration, taxation, and government benefits.

Currently, as an Executive Business Partner Consultant with WCSC, Shaney provides high-level support to the CEO, managing executive and administrative functions, government relations, content strategy, media monitoring, member relations, and event coordination. Her expertise ensures seamless operations, effective stakeholder engagement, and strategic communications within the organization.

Lucia M. Stuhldreier, Senior Legal Counsel
Partner, McMillan LLP

Lucia is a partner in McMillan’s Vancouver office and a member of the firm’s transportation group. Her practice focus includes rail transportation, aviation and trucking.

Lucia advises and represents rail shippers in negotiations of rail transportation agreements, including rate and service matters, and agreements for the construction, acquisition and shared use of rail trackage.

Kim Humphreys, Human Resources Consultant

Kim Humphreys is a highly experienced Human Resources strategist with over 20 years of experience advising organizations across healthcare, natural resources, utilities, and mining. Known for her expertise in aligning people practices with business strategy, Kim specializes in organizational effectiveness, process design, and establishing operational management systems that drive efficiency and mitigate risks, while also fostering high-performance cultures.

As the principal of her boutique consulting group, Workforce by Design Inc., she works closely with executives on key areas such as strategy, restructuring, and organizational design, helping businesses optimize operations and drive growth.

Kim holds a Bachelor’s in Commerce, a Master’s in Education from New Mexico State University, and an Evidence-Based Coaching Certificate. She is also a Chartered Professional in Human Resources (CPHR) and an active member of CPHR BC & Yukon.

Allison Field, Consultant
Owner and Principal Consultant, Field Consultant

Allison Field holds an undergraduate degree from Concordia University in Montreal and an MBA from the University of Saskatchewan. She spent six years working for the federal government in Ottawa before returning to Saskatchewan to settle down and start a family.

Craig Van Eyck, Accountant

After acquiring bachelor's degrees in Economics and Business from the University of Regina, Craig obtained his Chartered Accountant designation in 2003 while working for accounting firm Virtus Group LLP. Following work at Virtus as an audit manager, Craig became a partner in the public accounting firm C&V Chartered Accountants in Calgary, Alberta. After three years, he moved back to Regina to become the CFO of Eden Care Communities, a non-profit group of companies providing long-term care, assisted living and affordable housing. During his seven-year tenure as CFO, Eden Care Communities went from $7M in assets under management to $42M in assets under management. For the past ten years, Craig has operated a public practice as a sole practitioner, providing accounting and taxation services to several clients across Western Canada.
